Game Recap: Blackhawks Lose 3-2 Against Florida
The Chicago Blackhawks lose 3-2 against the Florida Panthers.
The Chicago Blackhawks lost the season opener 3-2 against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers. Frank Nazar scored a great goal and assisted on a similar one to Teuvo Teravainen. Connor Bedard looked fast. Growing pains were on display for Sam Rinzel and Artyom Levshunov.
Nothing worth getting upset about in this one. You can read my full thoughts in the recap I linked above. Some housekeeping thoughts are below.
I like what I’m doing with the previews here. We’ll try to keep that up. For recaps, I think I’ll stick to this format when I’m covering a game for On Tap Sports Net. For games that I won’t be covering, you might get some thoughts from me here.
Next game is tomorrow against the Boston Bruins (6 pm CT). I won’t be covering that one for On Tap, so we’ll run with how a recap will look here.
The Blackhawks’ home opener is this weekend, and unless I can catch a replay, I’ll be missing that one. Don’t expect any emails over the weekend. I do plan on getting a show out this Friday, however.
