It's Time For A Blackhawks Check Up
The Hawks mid-season check up and a news dump.
We’re going right into the swing of things this week. I have a couple of goodies for you today.

Blackhawks Midseason Check-In: Progress, Context, and Lingering Questions
The standings and the underlying numbers point to an improved Blackhawks team, which is true. However, I do have my concerns. And concerns are just that. Nothing more. I mean, if I thought this rebuild was going completely fine… I would be delusional, right?

You can read the details in the link above, but below are the bullet points:
Lines from morning skate
Connor Bedard skated with the Blackhawks in practice in a non-contact jersey
Anton Frondell won gold with Team Sweden
Former Blackhawks GM and coach Bob Pulford passed away at 89
The Hawks play hockey tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. CT as they host the St. Louis Blues. I may or may not remind you.
Also, if interest ever picks up, I’m open to reopening the game threads that I did briefly here.
