Midnight City
Vegas recap, On Tap Sports Net Hawks update, and the latest Four Feathers Podcast episode.
It’s been a rough week, Blackhawks fans.
It’s been a rough February. The Hawks not only lost all their games this week, they’re 1-7 during the whole month. Rebuilds take time, sure. But whatever this is, it’s frustrating. Today, we’re keeping it short. I have a lot of On Tap Sport’s Net Hawks content to send your way.
You can read the recap for last night’s loss in Vegas down below:
Blackhawks Draw Dead Hand in 7-5 Loss to the Vegas Golden Knights
It's the same song and dance with the Chicago Blackhawks as their 7-5 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights brings their February record to 1-7. There's nothing new to dissect with their system (I don't think they have one). Their breakouts suck, their 1-1-3 in the neutral zone has the strength of wet toilet paper, and their forecheck is about as pestering as a fruit fly on a hot summer day…
The Blackhawks also made some roster transactions today, Nolan Allan was sent down to Rockford and Andreas Ahtanasiou and Wyatt Kaiser were called up:

Blackhawks On Tap: Frustration Filled Week To Close Out February
Last week I opened our weekly recap by saying it was going to be a reality check moving on from 4 Nations hockey to Blackhawks hockey. I didn't know it was going to be like this. If I did, I would have poured Malort straight into my eyeballs.
And yes, I found and bought Malort out here in the California desert…
Finally, if you’re headed home or have a road trip planned for the weekend, we did another Four Feathers Podcast episode, be sure to check it out below:
Still working out the mic piece, so please be patient. I’ll also be doing short Blackhawks updates here. Those are going to be under 15 min. and most likely just pre-game stuff whenever. Just to bust some rust on the public speaking skills.
Let’s Go Hawks
