The Chicago Blackhawks Lose 2-1 Against the Utah Hockey Club
Another loss in a meaningless season.
The Chicago Blackhawks did it again. They somehow managed to play so badly that they’ve reached another “new” low.
They owned 22% of shot attempts when both teams were at full strength. The Utah Hockey Club had 40 scoring chances against the Blackhawks, who only had six.
This is bad. Really bad.
You can read my thoughts in my game recap that’s over at On Tap Sports Net below:
Arvid Soderblom Impresses and Seth Jones Expresses in Blackhawks 2-1 Loss Against the Utah Hockey Club
Here we go again. The Chicago Blackhawks lost 2-1 against the Utah Hockey Club on Feb. 25. I'm frustrated. And so is Seth Jones. the lone Blackhawk to score.
I hate having to put out the "rebuild disclaimer" any time I get critical about this team. You can, and should, be frustrated when this team loses like they did against Utah…
Seth Jones is pissed. He wants out and I think it’s on Kyle Davidson to do right by him. The problem is, that moving Jones out does hurt the Blackhawks. He’s not great, don’t get me wrong, but you would have to be foolish to think that Jones is horrible (a popular take).
There are other veterans on this roster that have been less than amazing.
The trade deadline is March 7, so I guess we’ll just sit here and wait for things to maybe get interesting….
Looking to do a Four Feathers episode tomorrow night, I’ll post when it’s uploaded.
The Blackhawks play Thursday night in Vegas.
